497 crore tax on perfume businessman Piyush Jain
Lucknow. Rs 207 crore in cash was recovered in a raid at perfumer Piyush Jain of Uttar Pradesh . Since then all departments were probing his transactions. The Director General of GST Intelligence has found tax liability of Rs 497 crore on all the firms of Piyush Jain. GST Intelligence has also issued notices to 14 people. Tax of Rs 290 crore is likely on 14 businessmen as well. The GST officials have examined the whole matter. After this, the Income Tax Department will also take further action in this matter
